The Most Dangerous Place In the World

He that is not with me is against me....

Luke 11:23

Jesus said he that is not with me is against me and he that gathereth not scattereth. Is there any place in this world that can be more dangerous than standing against Jesus? There is no middle ground in our journey of life. If we are not for Christ, the Bible says we are against Him.

The possibility of being against him is a frightening thought. Without Him we can do nothing and there is no way to escape facing Jesus. The Psalmist said in Psalm 139:8, “If I ascend up to heaven, thou art there and if I make my bed in hell, behold thou art there.” Throughout all eternity, memory will haunt those who reject Jesus.

Matthew 25 outlines the tragedy of neglecting Jesus and the blessings of walking with Jesus.

The evidence of being against Jesus is revealed in one’s opposition to His word, to His work, and to the wooing of His Spirit. Surely the most dangerous place in the world is standing against Jesus and the greatest position to be enjoyed in this world is to stand with Jesus. We then can say with the song-writer, “Jesus is all the world to me.”

We must live for Jesus here if we expect to live with Jesus hereafter.

Please do not neglect so great salvation.

March 17^th - Sonshine Club - 11:30 AM

Sonshine Club

The special guests for our February Sonshine Club were the four candidates for Mayor of Salisbury, Gary Comegys, Jim Ireton, Bob Caldwall and Mike Della Penna. We had a total attendance of 74 with a wonderful time of fellowship. Plans are in the making for a St. Patrick’s day dinner of ham, cabbage, potatoes, macaroni & cheese with special desserts for our March meeting. Let’s make March 17^th a special day.

Something to Crow About

Our attendance promotion for the 10:45 AM service from February 1^st through Easter Sunday on April 12^th has a number of people making perfect attendance so far. The “Go Getters” and the “Movers and Shakers” captains need to be kept encouraged by everyone taking part on both teams. Mrs. Barbara Ilczuk and Mrs Barbara Robertson are leaders for the “Go Getters” and Mrs. Linda Price and Mrs Lois Hart are the leaders for the “Movers and Shakers”.
