     God is eternal, all powerful, righteous, and just.  But the greatest truth about God is that God is love.  Because God is love, it is possible for us to love one another. Our greatest responsibility to our fellow humans is love.  Christian love is never an accident nor is it automatic. It is made possible by the love of God revealed in Christ for each of us.  God's love makes us an instrument of God rather than just a mechanical, methodical human being.
